Travel Tips for visiting Boston - Helpful Information

Best Time to visit Boston

Starting from June to October end is the best time to visit Boston.

Boston Local Transport

Boston Subway or T (MBTA):

Boston MBTA has 5 Subway lines and is called T:
• Blue Line
• Green Line
• Orange Line
• Red Line (Ashmont–Mattapan High-Speed Line)
• Silver Line

The Boston MBTA system operates with the T lines running to and from the central Boston area.

The various subway lines do not consistently run in any given compass direction, so directions refer to line directions as "inbound" or "outbound". Inbound trains travel towards the four downtown transfer stations, and outbound trains travel away from these hub stations.
