Gwangalli Beach (광안리해수욕장) & Gwangandaegyo Bridge


Gwangalli Beach (광안리해수욕장) is 1.4 km long pristine beach with fine sand. You will see many fisherman.
The Olympic Yacht Rental will rent you boats. You can also go water-skiing, jet skiing, and windsurfing.

An outer concert stage hosts the Busan Ocean Festival and other events on the beach during the summer months.
In the evening, you can enjoy watching twinkling light show of the the Gwangandaegyo Bridge, the longest bridge over the ocean in Korea. (7.4km from Namcheon-dong (Suyeong-gu, Busan) to Centum City (U-dong, Haeundae-gu).

Recommendations and Tips for visiting Gwangalli Beach

 

• The amount of time you spend at the beach depends on your interest.
   If you include beach activities and surrounding areas it can be an all day activity.
   Just to view the beach is maybe 30 minutes with the bridge light show.

• Come early. The parking spots get full fast. Take public transportation if possible.

• Bring flip flops for the beach and wear comfortable shoes, as well as snacks, water, and sunscreen/ hat. Great place for a picnic.

• Combine the beach with Millak Raw Fish Town (민락회타운).
   - You may purchase fish on the 1st floor, and
     then go to one of the restaurants on the 2nd floor through the 10th floor to have them cook it for you for a small fee.
   - After your meal, take a digestive stroll through Millak Waterfront Park for a nice walk and view of the ocean.
