Taejongdae - Busan - Travel Guide

Taejongdae 태종대 Resort Park is located at the southern tip of Yeongdo-gu.

The park offers an observatory, coastal walking trails, a light house, temple, gun shooting range, hot springs, boat cruises, museums, and restaurants.

The best attraction here are the spectacular views of the ocean from the cliffs.

On a clear day you can see a Japanese Island called Daema Island (Tsushima Island).

By Busan Metro and Bus (Combo) to Taejongdae :

Take Metro Line No.1

Recommendations

 

• Where good walking shoes and bring water. The hills can be steep. If walking, walk uphill first- towards the buddhist temple.
• Take a jacket because it will be windy and cold on the even in the warmer months.
• Take the tram (Taejongdae Danubi train) if traveling with young children or don't feel like walking.
• Take lunch and eat with a glorious view of the sea.
• This attraction will take a minimum of 2 hours if walking and stopping at all attractions.
