Fukuoka Tower - Travel Guide

 

Fukuoka Tower is a 234 meters tall tower is the tallest seaside tower in Japan located in the Momochihama area of Fukuoka.

Fukuoka Tower has three observation decks: one at 116 m, a café/lounge deck at 120 m, and the highest at 123 meters above the ground.

Observation decks provide a beautiful views of Fukuoka City and Hakata bay.

Getting There

 

By Subway :
Take a subway line to Nishijin Station
Follow signs to Fukuoka Tower exit
Approx. 20 mins walk from Nishijin Station

By Bus :
Take Nishitetsu Bus to Robosquare stop
Fukuoka Tower is behind Robosquare building

 

Recommendations

 

• Combine Fukuoka Tower with Robosqaure visit as they are loacted next (building) to each other

• This is a good place to go if it is raining or cold outside

• Wear good shoes as you will be walking a lot if taking a subway to Nishijin Station
