Fukuoka- Ōhori Park - Travel Guide

 

Ohori Park (大濠公園, Ōhori-kōen) is a city park around a large pond in central Fukuoka area.

Adjacent to Ohori Park in southeastern corner is the Fukuoka Art Museum.

Few steps south of the museum visitors is the Ohori Park Japanese Garden.

On the southeast corner across from the street is Gokoku Shrine.

The path to the shrine goes through a massive torii gate. The main shrine building is a unique gold structure situated in front of a spacious yard.

Take a Subway to Ohori Koen Subway Station
Follow Signs to Ohori Park. It is just few steps away from Subway exit
