Ocean Park Hong Kong is a marine mammal and oceanarium themed amusement park.

Ocean Park is located on the southern side of Hong Kong Island.

Ocean Park in Hong Kong is divided into two parts:

- The Waterfront (where the pandas are, near the park entrance), and

- The Summit (where the thrill rides and seals are).

The Waterfront and The Summit areas are connected by Cable Car and Ocean Express train.

Don't miss the Giant Pandas!  

This Hong Kong theme park also offers special experiences with the animals for an additional fee.  

There’s a lot to do and you could spend the whole day here at Hong Kong Ocean Park.

  The park can get very crowded so the ticket lines can be quite long especially on the weekends and holidays.

Getting to Ocean Park in Hong Kong

By Hong Kong MTR to Ocean Park in Hong Kong:

- Find your way to Admiralty MTR station. 

- From Admiralty MTR station transfer to the MTR South Island Line. 

- Exit at Ocean Park MTR station. Ocean Park Station has direct access to the park entrance. 

For more information, please visit the MTR website.

- Bus no. 629 is no longer running from Admiralty station to Ocean Park station due to the opening of the South Island MTR line from Admiralty.

  However, there are plenty of buses to Ocean Park or go near to Ocean Park.

Tips for Visiting the Ocean Park in Hong Kong:

- Ocean Park is 226 acres and divided into two parts:

   The Waterfront (where the pandas are, near the park entrance), and

   The Summit (where the thrill rides and seals are).

- The Waterfront and The Summit areas are connected by Cable Car and Ocean Express train inside Ocean Park.

- Once you enter this Hong Kong theme park, take the Ocean Express Train to the Summit area.  Explore the Summit Area first. 

  You will find most of the Thrill Rides and wet rides in the Summit Area. 

- Go to the popular rides like Arctic Blast, Hair Raiser, the Abyss, the Dragon, The Raging River, and Rapids first.

  After visiting popular rides go to the shows and animal exhibits at Marina World and Polar Adventure.

- After you are finished on this side, take the Cable Car to the Waterfront side. 

  Lines tend to be shorter in the afternoon going to the Waterfront.

- The waterfront has more rides for young children, shows, and animal exhibits. 

  Stroll through Old Hong Kong, Grand Hong Kong Aquarium, and Don't miss the Giant Pandas!

- Bring an umbrella or hat to provide shade from the sun. Plan to go the Aquarium during the hottest part of the day!

- You can also download their app for the park map and show schedules to optimize your time at the Park.

- Big Bus also operates the Aberdeen Stanley route which stops at Ocean Park. 

  Please note the last pick up time for Big Bus is around 5 PM which might not be convenient.

  There are also several tour companies that offer deals with tickets and pickup/drop off service from your hotel.
