Hong Kong - Star Ferry - Helpful Travel Information for Visitors

The Star Ferry is considered heritage and cultural treasure of Hong Kong.

The Star Ferry provides a commuter and tour ferry service in Hong Kong.

It crosses Victoria Harbour carrying passengers much as it did in 1880 when the Star Ferry first started sailing.

A fun and inexpensive way to spend time on the water is to take the Star Ferry ride across the harbor.

Star Ferry links Tsim Tsui Tsui (Kowloon) with Central (Hong Kong Island) as well as Tsim Tsui Tsui (Kowloon) with Wan Chai (Hong Kong Island).

It is a 10-15 minute ride on the Star Ferry across the harbor.

There are also water tour cruises that visitors can take to enjoy more time on the water.
