Honolulu International Airport (HNL) has three Terminals - Terminal 1, 2 and 3

Terminal 1 is used by Hawaiian Airlines and has 13 gates.

Terminal 2 houses all other major Airlines and handles domestic and international flights.

HNL Airport Terminal 2 has three concourses with a total of 29 gates.

Terminal 3 is used by Mokulele Airlines for inter-island flights.

All International flights arrive at Terminal 1 and 2 of this Honolulu Airport.

Six rental car companies, Advantage, Avis, Budget, Enterprise, Hertz, and National, are located at Honolulu airport.

Follow the sign to Rental cars at Honolulu Airport, which will take you to the Parking Garage opposite arrival exit doors.

Registration counters are located in the Baggage Claim area.

Public Transportation at Honolulu Airport

Public Bus service at Honolulu Airport :

TheBus is the public bus system in Oahu (Hawaii). 

TheBus is a good option at Honolulu Airport if you only have carry-on luggage. 

There are baggage limitations for TheBus when taking the bus from Honolulu International Airport.

All bags must be placed under the feet or on the lap without protruding into the aisle.

To get to Waikiki from Honolulu Airport, catch bus 19 or 20 from the bus Stops located on the second level roadway along the center median at Honolulu Airport.

 

TheBus Route No. 19 at Honolulu Airport :  

The eastbound route goes from the airport and ends in Waikiki. 

The westbound route goes from the airport and ends at Hickam Air Force Base.

TheBus Route No. 20 at Honolulu Airport :  

The eastbound route goes from the airport and ends in Waikiki. 

The westbound route goes from the airport to the Arizona Memorial, Aloha Stadium, Aiea and ends at Pearlridge Shopping Center.

Make sure to have exact change when taking a public bus in Honolulu.
