San Diego International airport has currency exchange counters like Travelex currency and other Counters.

San Diego Airport Currency Exchange counter is located in Terminal 2 Baggage Claim area across from carousel 3.

San Diego Airport Terminal 2 Travelex Currency Exchange counter hours: 5 AM - 8 PM (Daily)

In the Greater San Diego Area, Travelex also has Money change counters at :

1). Fashion Valley Simon Mall - Open 10 AM - 9 PM (Daily)

2). University Towne Center - Open 10 AM - 7 PM (Daily)

You can also exchange currency at banks in San Diego, however, you will have to pay fees/commission.

In San Diego Area Banks are generally open from 9 AM- 5 PM on weekdays and closed on Weekends/Public Holidays.

If you are changing a large amount of currency then it is worth checking a few banks as every bank exchange rates and fees differ slightly.

You can also buy US Dollars at home from your bank before getting on to the plane for San Diego.
