Seattle Tacoma International Airport (Airport Code: SEA) also known as SEATAC Airport or SEATAC.

SEATAC Airport is also the main International Airport for Greater Seattle area in Washington State (don't confuse with Washington D.C in the East Coast ... not Same)

SEATAC Airport has 3 Terminals - Main Terminal, North Satellite Terminal, and South Satellite Terminal.

Concourse with Gates A, B, C, and D are located in Main Terminal.

Concourse with N Gates is located at North Satellite Terminal and S Gates at South Satellite Terminal.

All terminals are linked with each other by underground STS (Satellite Transit System) Train in the post-security area at SEATAC.


All International flights arrive in South Satellite Terminal which has Immigration and Customs Facility to process arriving International Passengers.

All International Seattle Arrivals (passengers) have to go through Immigration, pick up all checked bags and clear Customs in SEATAC Airport.

Arriving Domestic Passengers should head straight to the baggage claim for their checked-in baggage in the Main Terminal.

Taxi at SEATAC Airport

Taxi and Limousine Service at SEATAC Airport :

There are Taxi and Limousine stands on the 3rd floor of the parking garage with a supply of Cars waiting.

Follow the Taxi/ Cab signs from Baggage Claim.

The cost for a taxicab between SeaTac Airport and downtown Seattle or Bellevue is about $60 US.

SEATAC Airport to DT Seattle by Link Light Rail

Link Light Rail Train from Seattle Airport to Downtown Seattle or University Area :

The SeaTac Airport is connected to the Link Light Rail Train.

Walk to the fourth floor of the airport parking garage and follow the signs to Link Light Rail.

From the SEATAC Arrival hall, it will take about 10 minutes to reach Light Rail Airport Station.

You can catch the Light Rail from the platform level of the Airport station.

5 AM - 1 AM Mon-Sat, and

6 AM - 12 AM on Sundays

Link Light rail trains run approximately every 15 minutes.

Light Rail train is generally :

- the fastest at peak traffic time in the Seattle area,

- approximately 40 minutes to Downtown Seattle from SEATAC Airport, and

- the most economical choice for one-way transport from SeaTac airport to Downtown Seattle.

All rental car companies at Sea-Tac Airport operate outside of the airport from the Car Rental Center.

Rental Cars Center offers shuttles buses to  Airport 24-hour-a-day.

After picking up your bags, exit the terminal near carousel #1 or #15 and walk to one of the two designated shuttle bus pick-up areas.
