The Gardens by the Bay in Singapore consist of several attractions:

Bay East Garden:  pavilions, lawns, palm trees, and flowering shrubs- the Marina Bay financial district skyline can be viewed along the 2km waterfront promenade

The Heritage Gardens is a collection of four themed gardens that shows the history and culture of Singapore’s main three ethnic groups- Malay, Chinese, and Indian.

Sun Pavilion:  home to the largest cacti and succulent collections in Southeast Asia

Supertree Grove:  Vertical gardens of 25 to 50-meters tall have large canopies for shade and lite up at night

Dragonfly & Kingfisher Lakes:  Good for a stroll around the lake with nice views and plants.

The Featured attractions are the Cloud Forest and Flower Dome: 

The Flower Dome is a 35-meter tall mountain covered in lush vegetation shrouding the world’s tallest indoor waterfall. 

The Cloud forest takes you to the top of the mountain by elevator then you can walk down using the two walkways in the clouds for an aerial view of the canopy and mountainside below.

By Circle Line or Downtown Line MRT :

- Exit at Bayfront MRT Station (CE1/DT16)

- Take Exit B and follow the underground linkway

- Exit and cross the Dragonfly Bridge or Meadow Bridge into Gardens by the Bay

By East-West Line MRT:

- Exit at Tanjong Pagar MRT Station (EW15)

- Take Exit C and head towards bus stop 03223 located at International Plaza, Anson Road

Recommendation and Tips for visiting Gardens by the Bay in Singapore

- Plan to go to the Cloud Forest and  Flower Dome when it rains (mostly between 12 noon - 3pm in afternoon) and explore the outside attractions first or after.  The interior gardens are air-conditioned so you might want to bring a light sweater.  

- Buy Internal Gardens by the Bay shuttle ticket to get around from place to place inside, especially if you have kids.  

- Good idea to combine this attraction with the Skypark at the Marina Bay Sands in Singapore in the late afternoon / early evening before sunset for spectacular views of Singapore!

- Wear really good shoes, the complex is large and will require lots of walking. 

- Don't forget to bring a swimsuit and towel for the kids (Waterpark is Free by the way)

- Wear sunscreen if you plan to explore outside.  Bring water and snacks!
